The owner of the business , Gemma, did my hair and it turned out exactly how the picture that I showed, looked. She was really kind, helpful and skilled. I saw other customers walking in and noticed how the staff asked the customers if they wanted a drink and offered to take their coat. The whole look of the building is spacious and organized, I also saw all the workers doing their part and helping each other out. Overall the workers were really kind and helpful and I would definitely go again.

Really lovely young girl who greets you and takes your coat. Puts you at ease. The hair stylist was welcoming and friendly and listened to what was wanted.

Doesn't matter which stylist does my hair, I always end up feeling so much better about myself. Well that's until the greys start showing through again and I have to visit again! Hair by Phillip are a great salon, with fab coffees and excellent service. Won't ever go anywhere else. Most unprofessional company I’ve ever come across. Nothing but scammers. Paid £186 for high light tint and was not told about any extra costs or anything. Refused a refund and turnt my hair purple and green all over all snapped my hair off at the front as they over processed my hair.

Worse haircut I ever had, I called in and asked if there's any hair dresser who could do short bob for thin hair and was given confident answer that she could. Got in and discussed how I'd like it slightly short and layered at the back, and just an inch below my chin and no layered at all at the front. I show her picture of how I normally had it and an example of how I'd to have it exactly. She finished cutting my hair and left the salon, the junior then came to blow dry my hair. For the first time in my life I nearly cried after cutting my hair, I've never seen haircut so bad. My hair is unevenly layered everywhere including the front, way too short to the point where I can't even go anywhere to get it fixed. I'd now have to wear this haircut to family Christmas, it isn't a big deal for some people but for someone who relies on hairstyle to make them look presentable it is. It isn't the end of the world either as I know hair grows back but don't you think that you should at least be able to walk out with the cut you'd asked for.

Gemma and her team did such an amazing job of mine and my bridesmaids hair on my wedding day. As this was the first time I had used the salon on my trial she really listened to what I wanted and was able to create this as well as showing my some other options just to make sure I was certain on the style! Gemma recommended I had my hair cut just before the wedding to make sure the style looked the best it could- and this was definitely the right call! On the day the ladies were so professional and lovely! They got our hair done in perfect time so we still had plenty of time to finish getting ready. It's OK for doing my hair locally, but I didn't appreciate being left waiting in reception for 10 minutes without any acknowledgement from anyone - Poor customer service. I left the place and had to go to a different Salon to have my hair done.

They booked me in at short notice and Gemma did an amazing job on my wedding hair. Would highly recommend.

I have been here a few times to model for the apprentices and I have loved every time. My friend and I are mums who aren't usually able to do anything for ourselves due to having young children yet at hair by Phillip they welcomed us and our babies with welcome arms! Offered as many coffees as I could drink and was spoken to by really lovely staff. A great place and they do a superb job.
